What Abnormalities are

Abnormalities are the contained entities at the heart of Tuantu’s Lobotomization Branches — a Roblox fan game built on Lobotomy Corporation systems. Employees enter cells, perform work (Instinct, Insight, Attachment, Repression), and generate Positive Energy (PE) for departmental quotas. Each Abnormality carries a risk level, Qliphoth counter, mood rules, and breach behavior that can end a facility day if ignored.

Understanding Abnormalities is not optional flavor text. PE pacing, meltdown choices, Ordeal timing, Fear spikes, and E.G.O extraction all flow from which boxes you enable and how you read encyclopedia (J) entries mid-day.

Risk level ladder

Risk increases from ZAYIN (safest) through TETH, HE, WAW, and ALEPH (most dangerous). Higher tiers yield more PE per successful work but punish failures with faster breaches, wider Fear auras, and harsher suppression patterns. Full tier philosophy lives in Risk Levels; entity examples appear in ZAYIN Guide and TETH Guide.

Version 0.9.1 (Binah update) added entities such as Dummy, Old Lady, Wishroot, TR0W3L, SledgeQueen, and Mountain of Smiling Bodies — track details on the Trello board and Patch notes. Dedicated tier guides cover HE Abnormalities from roughly day five and WAW/ALEPH from day ten onward.

Work types and stat checks

Every work action tests an employee stat:

  • Instinct → Fortitude
  • Insight → Prudence
  • Attachment → Temperance
  • Repression → Justice

Mood results (Good, Normal, Bad) feed back into Qliphoth counters. Some Abnormalities invert expectations — Bad Insight might still be mandatory for PE boxes. Use the Work Helper tool when learning repeat farms.

Qliphoth counters and breaches

The Qliphoth counter counts down toward breach. Successful works usually stabilize; failures, passive abilities, or facility events chip counters. At zero, the Abnormality breaches — becoming a mobile threat until suppressed with E.G.O weapons (Q dash, F block).

Meltdowns force counter resets on unrelated cells — prioritize How to Play meltdown frameworks before enabling WAW boxes.

PE, NE, and facility pressure

Positive Energy fills quota boxes; Negative Energy from select Abnormalities stresses alternate meters. Stacking NE-heavy entities in one department without rotation causes secondary events. Spread risk across wings per Facility Map knowledge.

Fear and employee levels

Employees gain Fear witnessing high-risk breaches or orbiting ALEPH mood screens without sufficient level gap. Fear reduces work success and combat reliability. Assign low levels to ZAYIN Guide chores; escort them during TETH+ breaches.

E.G.O ties

Roughly one hundred forty-four E.G.O pieces link to Abnormalities — weapons, suits, gifts. Extraction conditions appear in encyclopedia entries and Extract E.G.O guide. Farming the wrong entity wastes days; cross-check Tier List rankings.

Learning path

  1. Read Getting Started for facility loop vocabulary.
  2. Study Risk Levels before enabling new boxes.
  3. Farm ZAYIN/TETH guides for concrete examples.
  4. Study HE Guide before enabling day five boxes.
  5. Graduate to How to Play and Meltdown Guide for counter routing.
  6. Read WAW and ALEPH Guide before day ten enable.
  7. Use Core Suppression and Binah Core Suppression when departments integrate Sephirah content.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What are the Abnormality risk levels in order?

From safest to most dangerous: ZAYIN, TETH, HE, WAW, ALEPH. Higher risk yields more PE but breaches faster and spikes Fear more severely.

What is a Qliphoth counter?

The Qliphoth counter tracks stability before an Abnormality breaches. Successful works usually lower or hold the counter; failures and meltdowns can force breaches when it hits zero.

Which work type uses which stat?

Instinct uses Fortitude, Insight uses Prudence, Attachment uses Temperance, and Repression uses Justice. Match work types to employee stats and encyclopedia recommendations.

Where are new Binah update Abnormalities listed?

Version 0.9.1 added entities like Dummy, Old Lady, and Wishroot. Check the Trello board and Patch v0.9.1 notes for work rules and extraction data.
